Uses and Benefits of 3 CEF NOVO 1.5GM
Uses & Benefits
3Cef Novo 1.5G Injection is prescribed for the treatment of susceptible bacterial infections.
Depending on the identified organism and site of infection, Cefoperazone-Sulbactam may be used for infections involving:
Respiratory tract
Urinary tract
Intra-abdominal infections
Skin and soft-tissue infections
Bloodstream infections / septicaemia
Certain other serious bacterial infections
The exact indication should be determined by the treating doctor based on the patient's clinical condition and, when appropriate, microbiological testing.
Key Benefits
Helps treat infections caused by susceptible bacteria.
Combines an antibacterial agent with a beta-lactamase inhibitor.
Sulbactam can help restore the activity of Cefoperazone against certain beta-lactamase-producing bacteria.
Injectable administration allows the medicine to be used when parenteral antibiotic treatment is medically appropriate.
Important: This medicine is not effective against viral infections such as the common cold or influenza.
