ACAMPROL Tablet contains Acamprosate Calcium, a medicine used to help people with alcohol dependence maintain abstinence after they have stopped drinking alcohol. It does not treat acute alcohol withdrawal symptoms and does not prevent the harmful effects of continued heavy drinking.

Possible side effects of ACAMPROL Tablet include diarrhoea, abdominal pain or stomach discomfort, nausea or vomiting, itching and reduced sexual desire. Seek medical attention if diarrhoea causes significant dehydration.
How to Use ACAMPROL TABLET (Acamprosate Calcium 333mg)
Take ACAMPROL Tablet exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow the tablet whole with water and take it with or after food, according to the product instructions. It is intended to support abstinence after alcohol has been stopped. Take it consistently alongside the recommended counselling or recovery programme. Do not change the dose or treatment duration without consulting your doctor.

Use ACAMPROL Tablet only under medical supervision. It is generally used after alcohol abstinence has begun and is not a treatment for acute alcohol withdrawal.
