Uses and Benefits of ACELAST 100MG CAPSULE (Acebrophylline 100 mg)
ACELAST 100MG Capsule contains Acebrophylline, a respiratory medicine with bronchodilatory and mucus-modifying actions. It helps relax the airways and may help reduce the thickness of mucus, making it easier to clear from the respiratory tract. It helps manage symptoms associated with COPD, may be prescribed in certain cases of bronchial asthma, and may help manage chronic bronchitis with excessive mucus production. This medicine is not a rescue treatment for a sudden asthma attack.
Side Effects of ACELAST 100MG CAPSULE (Acebrophylline 100 mg)
Possible side effects of ACELAST 100MG Capsule include nausea, vomiting, stomach discomfort or abdominal pain, diarrhoea or constipation, heartburn or indigestion, reduced appetite, and skin rash or itching. Contact your doctor if side effects persist or worsen. Seek prompt medical advice for severe abdominal pain, significant palpitations, breathing difficulties or a serious allergic reaction.
How to Use ACELAST 100MG CAPSULE (Acebrophylline 100 mg)
Take ACELAST 100MG Capsule exactly as prescribed by your doctor. It is generally taken with or after food, according to the prescription and product instructions. Swallow the capsule with water. The dose and duration depend on your condition and medical history. Do not increase the dose, discontinue treatment or use leftover capsules without consulting your doctor. This medicine does not replace a prescribed rescue inhaler.
Safety Information and Precautions for ACELAST 100MG CAPSULE (Acebrophylline 100 mg)
Use ACELAST 100MG Capsule only under medical supervision. Inform your doctor if you have heart disease, an irregular heartbeat, low blood pressure, kidney disease, liver disease or a history of seizures. Tell your doctor about all medicines you take, especially other respiratory medicines and medicines that may affect heart rhythm. Consult your doctor before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Avoid alcohol or use it only as advised by your doctor. Do not use it to treat sudden, severe breathing difficulty. Seek urgent medical attention if breathing becomes severely difficult or your usual rescue treatment is not working. Store below 30°C and keep out of reach of children.
