This medicine is mainly used to treat pain associated with muscle spasm, such as back pain, neck pain, and musculoskeletal injuries.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Muscle spasm with pain
• Back pain and neck pain
• Sprains and strains
• Pain due to muscular and joint disorders
• Post-injury or post-surgical muscular pain

HOW IT WORKS

• Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that reduces pain and inflammation
• Paracetamol adds additional pain relief and helps reduce fever
• Chlorzoxacone acts on the central nervous system to relax tight or spasming muscles
• Together they relieve pain, swelling and muscle tightness at the same time

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• Not for chronic long-term pain management without doctor supervision
• Not a first-choice treatment for headache or fever alone
• Not meant for infections, as it has no antibiotic action
• Not to be used for stomach pain or menstrual cramps unless advised by a doctor

• Black or bloody stools, or vomiting blood
• Yellowing of eyes or skin (jaundice)
• Severe stomach pain
• Swelling of face, lips or throat, or difficulty breathing
• Severe skin reaction with blistering or peeling
• Unusual weakness, dark urine, or reduced urination

How to Use ACEMIZ-MR TABLET (ACECLOFENAC 100 MG + PARACETAMOL 325 MG + CHLORZOXAZONE 250 MG)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually after food
• Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew unless advised
• Do not increase the dose or take it for longer than prescribed
• Avoid alcohol while taking this medicine
• Do not take other pain-relief or fever medicines along with this without checking with your doctor, as many contain paracetamol

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take it as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose
• Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed one
• Continue with your regular dosing schedule after that

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
• Keep in the original strip or container until ready to use
• Keep out of reach and sight of children
• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU

• Are allergic to Aceclofenac, Paracetamol, Chlorzoxacone or any NSAID
• Have active stomach or intestinal ulcers or bleeding
• Have severe liver or kidney disease
• Are in the last trimester of pregnancy
• Have a history of asthma triggered by NSAIDs

TELL YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE STARTING IF YOU

• Have liver or kidney problems
• Have a history of stomach ulcers or gastrointestinal bleeding
• Have heart disease, high blood pressure, or are at risk of stroke
• Are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding
• Regularly consume alcohol
• Are elderly, as side effects may be more likely
