Uses and Benefits of ACERA 20MG TABLET (RABEPRAZOLE 20MG)

Rabeprazole 20mg is used to treat conditions caused by excess stomach acid.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and heartburn
• Stomach ulcers and duodenal ulcers
• Zollinger-Ellison syndrome (a rare condition causing excess acid production)
• Erosive or ulcerative esophagitis
• As part of combination therapy to treat H. pylori infection along with antibiotics

HOW IT WORKS

• Blocks the acid pump in the stomach lining cells
• Reduces the amount of acid the stomach produces
• Helps relieve symptoms like burning sensation, pain, and acid reflux
• Allows healing of ulcers and irritated esophagus lining by lowering acid exposure

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU
