ACOSTIN 1MIU Injection contains Colistimethate Sodium, an antibiotic used under specialist supervision for certain serious bacterial infections, particularly those caused by susceptible Gram-negative bacteria that may be resistant to other antibiotics. It may be used for selected serious infections involving the lungs, urinary tract or bloodstream when the treating doctor determines that this antibiotic is appropriate.
