How to Use ALCAINE MPS SYRUP (MAGALDRATE 540MG+SIMETHICONE 50MG+OXETACAINE10MG)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually before or after meals and at bedtime
• Shake the liquid well before use, if using the liquid form
• Use the measuring cup provided rather than a household spoon
• Do not lie down immediately after taking it, especially if numbness in the throat occurs
• Avoid eating or drinking immediately after the dose if throat numbness is present, to prevent choking
• Do not take more than the amount advised by your doctor

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take it when you remember, but skip it if it is almost time for your next dose
• Do not double the dose to make up for a missed one
• Continue your regular dosing schedule afterwards

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
• Keep the container tightly closed
• Keep out of reach of children

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU

• Are allergic to Magaldrate, Simethicone, Oxetacaine or any other ingredient
