Uses and Benefits of ANASPAS INJECTION (CAMYLOFIN (25MG) + DICLOFENAC (25MG))

This medicine is commonly used to treat pain caused by spasm (sudden tightening) of smooth muscles in the stomach, intestines, urinary tract, or uterus, along with associated inflammation.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Relief of abdominal colic pain
• Pain due to kidney or urinary stones (renal colic)
• Menstrual cramps (dysmenorrhea)
• Pain from spasms of the gut or biliary tract

HOW IT WORKS

• Camylofin relaxes the smooth muscle of internal organs, reducing spasm-related pain
• Diclofenac blocks chemicals (prostaglandins) that cause pain, inflammation and fever
• Together they relieve both the spasm and the associated pain/inflammation faster than either alone

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• Not for general body pain unrelated to spasm
• Not a first-choice medicine for chronic long-term pain conditions like arthritis
• Not meant for fever alone
• Not for use as a routine painkiller without doctor's advice

COMMON SIDE EFFECTS

• Black or bloody stools, or vomiting blood (sign of stomach bleeding)
• Severe stomach pain
• Yellowing of skin or eyes (jaundice)
• Swelling of face, lips, throat or difficulty breathing (allergic reaction)
• Chest pain or sudden weakness (signs of heart or stroke-related problems)
• Reduced urine output or swelling of legs (kidney problems)
• Severe skin rash, blistering or peeling

How to Use ANASPAS INJECTION (CAMYLOFIN (25MG) + DICLOFENAC (25MG))

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually with or after food to reduce stomach upset
• Swallow the tablet with a glass of water; do not crush or chew unless advised
• Do not increase the dose or take it more often than prescribed
• Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest possible time
• Do not take with other pain-relief or anti-spasm medicines unless your doctor says so

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take it as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one
• Do not double the dose to make up for a missed one

STORAGE

• Store below 25°C, in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
• Keep out of reach of children
• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack
• Do not store in the bathroom or near a sink

This medicine is available only with a doctor's prescription in India.

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU

• Are allergic to camylofin, diclofenac, aspirin or other NSAIDs
• Have active stomach or intestinal ulcers or bleeding
• Have severe heart, liver or kidney disease
• Are in the last trimester of pregnancy
• Have a history of asthma triggered by NSAIDs

TELL YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE STARTING IF YOU

• Are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding
• Have high blood pressure or heart disease
• Have a history of stomach ulcers or bleeding
• Have kidney or liver problems
• Are elderly or take blood-thinning medicines

MEDICINES THAT CAN INTERACT

• Other NSAIDs or painkillers (increased risk of stomach bleeding)
• Blood thinners like warfarin or aspirin
• Medicines for high blood pressure or diuretics
• Steroids
• Lithium or methotrexate
