This combination eye drop is mainly used to treat raised pressure inside the eye, which occurs in glaucoma and ocular hypertension.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Lowering high intraocular pressure in open-angle glaucoma
• Managing ocular hypertension
• Used when a single eye drop medicine is not enough to control eye pressure

HOW IT WORKS

• Timolol blocks beta receptors in the eye, reducing the production of aqueous fluid
• Brimonidine acts on alpha receptors to further reduce fluid production and increase its outflow
• Together they provide a stronger reduction in eye pressure than either alone

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• Not used for treating eye infections
• Not used for allergic conjunctivitis or dry eyes

How to Use BRIMOTAS-T EYE DROP (Timolol (5mg) + Brimonidine (2mg))

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Use only as eye drops, exactly as prescribed by your doctor
• Wash your hands before applying the drops
• Tilt your head back, pull down the lower eyelid, and place the drop inside without touching the dropper tip to the eye
• Press gently on the inner corner of the eye for a minute after applying to reduce absorption into the body
• If using other eye drops, wait at least 5-10 minutes between different medicines
• Do not stop using suddenly without consulting your doctor, even if symptoms improve

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Apply it as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and continue as usual
• Do not apply two doses together to make up for a missed one

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and heat
• Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use
• Do not use after the expiry date or after the recommended period once opened
• Keep out of reach of children

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU
