Hyoscine Butylbromide is mainly used to treat abdominal pain and cramps caused by spasms of the digestive and urinary system.
WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Relief of stomach cramps and abdominal colic
- Pain due to irritable bowel syndrome
- Spasms of the bile duct or gallbladder
- Spasms of the urinary tract, including kidney stone pain
- Menstrual cramps in some cases
HOW IT WORKS
- It relaxes the smooth muscles lining the stomach, intestines, bile duct, and urinary tract
- It blocks certain nerve signals that cause these muscles to go into spasm
- This reduces the cramping pain caused by muscle contractions
WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR
- It does not treat the underlying cause of pain, such as infection or ulcers
- It is not a general painkiller for headaches, muscle pain, or joint pain
- It does not treat acidity or heartburn
- It is not meant for long-term daily pain relief without medical supervision

How to Use BUSCOGAST 20MG INJECTION (Hyoscine Butylbromide 20mg)
HOW TO TAKE IT
- Take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor
- It can usually be taken with or without food
- Swallow the tablet with a glass of water; do not crush or chew unless advised
- Do not increase the dose or take it more often than prescribed
- If pain continues despite taking the medicine, inform your doctor rather than taking extra doses
IF YOU MISS A DOSE
- Take the missed dose as soon as you remember
- If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue your normal schedule
- Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one

- Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
- Keep out of reach of children
