Uses and Benefits of CASPORAN 70MG INJECTION (CASPOFUNGIN ACETATE 70MG.)
Caspofungin Acetate is used to treat serious fungal infections, especially those caused by Candida and Aspergillus species, in patients who are seriously ill or who cannot take other antifungal medicines.
WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Invasive candidiasis (fungal infection in the blood or body organs)
- Invasive aspergillosis when other treatments have not worked or cannot be used
- Fungal infections in the food pipe (oesophageal candidiasis)

HOW IT WORKS
- It blocks a substance called beta-(1,3)-D-glucan that fungi need to build their cell wall
- Without a proper cell wall, the fungus cannot survive and dies

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR
- It does not treat bacterial or viral infections
- It is not used for common skin or nail fungal infections
- It is not a preventive medicine for healthy people without infection risk
