This medicine is used to treat infections caused by susceptible bacteria.
WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Respiratory tract infections such as bronchitis and pneumonia
- Throat and sinus infections
- Skin and soft tissue infections
- Certain stomach infections in combination with other medicines
- Some ear infections in children
HOW IT WORKS
- It stops bacteria from making proteins needed for their growth
- This action prevents bacteria from multiplying and helps the body's immune system clear the infection
- It works only against bacteria, not viruses or fungi
WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR
- It is not used for common cold, flu, or other viral infections

How to Use CLARIBID SYRUP (CLARITHROMYCIN (125MG/5ML))
HOW TO TAKE IT
- Shake the bottle well before each use
- Use the measuring cup or spoon provided, not a household spoon
- Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually for a fixed number of days
- Can be taken with or without food
- Complete the full course even if you feel better, unless told otherwise by your doctor
IF YOU MISS A DOSE
- Take it as soon as you remember
- If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and continue as usual
- Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one
STORAGE
- Store as directed on the label, usually at room temperature away from heat and moisture
- Some reconstituted suspensions may need refrigeration — check the pharmacy label
- Discard any unused suspension after the period mentioned on the bottle
- Keep out of reach and sight of children
