Uses and Benefits of CRIZ-M KID TABLET (LEVOCETIRIZINE 2.5MG + MONTELUKAST 4MG)

This combination medicine is mainly used to treat allergic rhinitis (seasonal or year-round) and related allergic symptoms affecting the nose and airways.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Relief of sneezing, runny nose, itching and nasal congestion caused by allergies
• Relief of watery/itchy eyes associated with allergic rhinitis
• Add-on treatment to help control allergic symptoms that affect breathing along with nasal allergy

HOW IT WORKS

• Levocetirizine is an antihistamine that blocks histamine, a chemical released during an allergic reaction, reducing sneezing, itching and runny nose
• Montelukast blocks leukotrienes, chemicals that cause airway swelling and narrowing, helping ease breathing-related allergic symptoms
• Together they work on two different pathways of allergy for more complete symptom relief

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• Not a cure for allergies; it only controls symptoms
• Not meant for sudden asthma attacks or as a rescue inhaler substitute
• Not for treating common cold or bacterial/viral infections
• Not recommended for regular use without medical supervision

• Severe drowsiness affecting daily activities

How to Use CRIZ-M KID TABLET (LEVOCETIRIZINE 2.5MG + MONTELUKAST 4MG)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily in the evening
• Can be taken with or without food
• Swallow the tablet with a glass of water; do not crush or chew unless your doctor says it is fine
• Try to take it at the same time every day for best effect
• Continue taking it for as long as your doctor recommends, even if symptoms improve

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take the missed dose as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue your normal schedule
• Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
• Keep out of reach of children
• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack
• Keep in the original packaging until ready to use
