This combination medicine is mainly used for cleaning and treating wounds, bedsores, and skin ulcers that contain dead or damaged tissue.
WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Debridement (removal) of dead tissue from wounds and ulcers
- Treatment of bedsores (pressure ulcers)
- Treatment of diabetic foot ulcers and other slow-healing wounds
- Helping prepare wounds for faster healing
HOW IT WORKS
- Papain is an enzyme that breaks down dead (necrotic) protein tissue in the wound
- Urea helps soften the dead tissue and increases the effect of papain
- Together they help clean the wound bed without harming healthy surrounding tissue
- This encourages new, healthy tissue to grow faster
WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR
- Not used for clean wounds without dead tissue
- Not used to treat infections on its own
- Not used as an oral medicine
- Not a substitute for proper wound dressing or surgical debridement when advised by a doctor

HOW TO TAKE IT
- This medicine is for external use only, applied directly to the wound
- Clean the wound as instructed by your doctor or nurse before applying
- Apply a thin, even layer over the affected area as prescribed
- Cover with a sterile dressing if advised
- Wash your hands before and after application
- Use exactly as directed by your doctor regarding frequency and duration
IF YOU MISS A DOSE
- Apply as soon as you remember during dressing change time
- Do not apply extra amounts to make up for a missed application
- Continue with your regular dressing schedule as advised by your doctor

- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
- Keep the container tightly closed after use
- Keep out of reach of children
