WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Relief of pain and swelling in arthritis (osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis)
• Muscle pain, sprains, and strains
• Back pain
• Pain after minor surgery or dental procedures
• Painful menstrual periods
• Pain and swelling after injuries

HOW IT WORKS

• Blocks enzymes called COX (cyclooxygenase) that produce prostaglandins
• Prostaglandins cause pain, swelling, and inflammation in the body
• By reducing prostaglandin production, it lowers pain and inflammation

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• Not used for fever alone without pain
• Not a first-choice medicine for mild headaches
• Not used to treat infections

• Severe skin reaction with blisters or peeling
• Swelling of face, lips, tongue, or throat, or difficulty breathing (allergic reaction)
• Sudden decrease in urine output

How to Use DICLOTAL INJECTION (DICLOFENAC 75 MG)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually with food or milk to reduce stomach upset
• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water; do not crush or chew unless advised
• Do not increase the dose or take it more often than prescribed
• Avoid lying down immediately after taking it
• Do not take with other NSAIDs or painkillers unless your doctor approves
