This combination medicine is mainly used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension), especially when it is not well controlled by a single blood pressure medicine.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Control of high blood pressure
• Used when two or more medicines are needed together to manage blood pressure
• Helps reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke and kidney problems linked to long-term high blood pressure

HOW IT WORKS

• Telmisartan blocks a hormone called angiotensin II, relaxing blood vessels
• Metoprolol is a beta-blocker that slows the heart rate and reduces the force of heart contraction
• Cilnidipine is a calcium channel blocker that relaxes blood vessel walls, lowering blood pressure
• Together they work through different pathways to give better blood pressure control

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily
• Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew unless your doctor says so
• Try to take it at the same time every day
• Can be taken with or without food, but be consistent
• Do not stop this medicine suddenly without consulting your doctor, especially the beta-blocker component, as this can cause a sudden rise in heart rate or blood pressure
• Continue taking it even if you feel well, as it controls but does not cure high blood pressure

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take it as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose
• Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed one

• Are pregnant or planning pregnancy
• Are breastfeeding
