Uses and Benefits of DIPROBEC CREAM (BECLOMETHASONE DIPROPIONATE 0.05% w/v)
This composition is mainly used to treat inflammation of the nasal passages caused by allergies or other conditions.
WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Allergic rhinitis (seasonal or year-round, including hay fever)
- Non-allergic rhinitis with sneezing, congestion, and nasal discharge
- Nasal polyps, sometimes, to reduce their size and symptoms
- Prevention of recurrence of nasal symptoms with regular use
HOW IT WORKS
- It is a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation in the lining of the nose
- It lowers swelling, mucus production, and irritation caused by allergens
- Regular use helps prevent symptoms rather than giving instant relief
- It works locally in the nose with minimal absorption into the rest of the body
WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR
- It is not a treatment for common cold or viral infections
- It does not relieve sudden nasal blockage instantly like decongestant sprays
- It is not used for eye infections or skin conditions
- It is not a substitute for oral antihistamines when systemic allergy symptoms are present
Your doctor will decide the exact strength, frequency, and duration based on your condition.
