WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Psoriasis (including scalp psoriasis)
• Chronic eczema with thickened, scaly skin
• Lichen planus and similar scaly skin disorders
• Other corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses with excess scaling

HOW IT WORKS

• Betamethasone dipropionate is a strong corticosteroid that reduces inflammation, itching, and redness by suppressing the local immune response
• Salicylic acid is a keratolytic agent that softens and removes thickened, scaly skin, helping the steroid penetrate better
• Together they reduce scaling and inflammation more effectively than either alone

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• Worsening of the skin condition instead of improvement

How to Use DIPROVATE PLUS ES OINTMENT (BETAMETHASONE DIPRO + SALICYLIC ACID)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• For external use on skin only; not to be taken by mouth
• Apply a thin layer to the affected area as prescribed by your doctor, usually once or twice a day
• Wash and dry your hands before and after application, unless the hands are being treated
• Avoid applying on the face, groin, or underarms unless specifically advised by your doctor
• Do not cover the treated area with an airtight bandage unless instructed
• Do not use for longer than the duration advised by your doctor

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Apply as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for the next application, skip the missed one
• Do not apply extra medicine to make up for a missed dose

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct heat and sunlight
• Keep the tube or container tightly closed
• Keep out of reach of children
