Isoxsuprine is mainly used to treat conditions caused by poor blood circulation and certain pregnancy-related uterine problems.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Improving blood flow in peripheral vascular disease
• Managing symptoms of poor circulation such as cramping leg pain
• Helping relax the uterus in cases of threatened premature labour (as decided by the doctor)
• Supporting circulation problems related to certain blood vessel spasms

HOW IT WORKS

• It relaxes the smooth muscles present in the walls of blood vessels
• This widening of blood vessels (vasodilation) increases blood flow to muscles and organs
• It also relaxes the smooth muscle of the uterus, reducing contractions

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• It is not a painkiller and does not treat pain directly
• It is not used for heart attack or stroke treatment

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor

• Continue taking it for the full duration advised, even if you feel better

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU
