Uses and Benefits of EBERNET CREAM (EBERCONAZOLE 1% W/W)
Eberconazole 1% w/w is used to treat fungal infections affecting the skin.
WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Ringworm infection (tinea)
- Athlete's foot (tinea pedis)
- Jock itch (tinea cruris)
- Fungal skin rashes with itching, redness, and scaling
- Yeast infections of the skin caused by Candida
HOW IT WORKS
- Eberconazole belongs to a class of medicines called imidazole antifungals
- It works by damaging the fungal cell membrane, which stops the fungus from growing and spreading
- It also has anti-inflammatory action which helps reduce redness and itching caused by the infection
WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR
- It is not used for bacterial skin infections
- It is not used for viral skin infections like herpes or warts
- It is not meant for internal or oral use
- It is not a treatment for nail or scalp fungal infections unless specifically advised by your doctor

COMMON SIDE EFFECTS
- Mild burning sensation at the site of application
- Itching
- Redness of the skin
- Dryness of the applied area

- Peeling of skin
- Mild irritation or stinging
- Skin discoloration at the application site
SERIOUS SIDE EFFECTS — STOP AND SEE A DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY
- Severe rash or blistering of the skin
- Swelling of the face, lips, or throat
- Difficulty breathing
- Signs of a severe allergic reaction such as hives and dizziness

How to Use EBERNET CREAM (EBERCONAZOLE 1% W/W)
HOW TO TAKE IT
- Use only on the skin, as advised by your doctor
- Wash and dry the affected area before applying
- Apply a thin layer of the cream or lotion and gently rub it in
- Wash your hands after applying, unless the hands are the area being treated
- Use regularly for the full duration advised by your doctor, even if symptoms improve early
- Do not apply on broken skin, open wounds, or near the eyes
IF YOU MISS A DOSE
- Apply it as soon as you remember
- If it is almost time for your next application, skip the missed one and continue as usual
- Do not apply extra amount to make up for a missed dose
STORAGE
- Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
- Keep the cap tightly closed after use
- Keep out of reach of children
- Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack
