- Signs of severe low blood sugar such as confusion, seizures, or loss of consciousness
- Signs of allergic reaction such as rash, breathing difficulty, or swelling of face and throat
- Very low potassium levels causing muscle weakness or irregular heartbeat
- Sudden severe swelling or difficulty breathing

How to Use EGLUCENT KWIK PEN (INSULIN LISPRO 100IU)
HOW TO TAKE IT
- Use exactly as prescribed by your doctor
- Usually injected under the skin (subcutaneously) shortly before or right after a meal
- Injection sites include abdomen, thigh, upper arm or buttocks; rotate sites to avoid skin problems
- Do not mix with other insulins unless advised by your doctor
- Check the insulin looks clear and colourless before use; do not use if cloudy or discoloured
- Follow the injection technique taught by your doctor or nurse
IF YOU MISS A DOSE
- Since this insulin is taken with meals, do not take a missed dose after the meal is over unless advised
- Do not double the dose to make up for a missed one
- Check your blood sugar and contact your doctor if unsure what to do
STORAGE
- Store unopened insulin in the refrigerator, away from freezing
- Once in use, it may be kept at room temperature as per the label, away from direct heat and sunlight
- Keep out of reach of children
- Do not use after the expiry date
