HOW IT WORKS

• Insulin Lispro acts quickly to control the rise in blood sugar after meals

• Signs of allergic reaction such as rash, itching, swelling of face, lips or throat, or difficulty breathing
• Very low potassium levels causing muscle weakness or irregular heartbeat
• Sudden weight gain, swelling of legs, or shortness of breath (signs of fluid retention or heart problems)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take this medicine only as prescribed by your doctor, usually by injection under the skin
• It is generally given shortly before a meal, as advised by your doctor
• Do not inject into a vein or muscle unless specifically instructed
• Rotate injection sites (abdomen, thigh, upper arm) to avoid skin problems
• Always check the insulin looks uniformly cloudy (mixed) before use; do not use if clumped or discolored

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

STORAGE
