WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

HOW IT WORKS

• Ibuprofen blocks certain chemicals (prostaglandins) in the body that cause pain, swelling, and fever
• Paracetamol acts on the brain's pain and temperature-regulating centres to reduce fever and pain
• Together they give faster and more effective relief than either medicine alone

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• Not a treatment for infections such as bacterial or viral illness

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually after food to reduce stomach upset
• Swallow the tablet with a glass of water; do not crush or chew unless advised
• Do not take more than the prescribed dose or for longer than recommended
• Avoid taking on an empty stomach

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take it as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and continue as usual
• Do not double the dose to make up for a missed one

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
• Keep out of reach and sight of children
