This medicine is used to treat breathing problems associated with excess mucus in the airways, such as in asthma, chronic bronchitis, and other obstructive airway diseases.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Relief of wheezing and breathlessness due to narrowed airways
• Cough with thick mucus that is difficult to clear
• Chronic bronchitis and related breathing disorders
• Asthma symptom relief as part of overall treatment

HOW IT WORKS

• Terbutaline relaxes the muscles around the airways, widening them and easing breathing
• Bromhexine reduces the thickness of mucus, helping the body clear it through coughing
• Together they help improve airflow and reduce chest congestion

• Dry cough without mucus

SERIOUS SIDE EFFECTS — STOP AND SEE A DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY

• Severe chest pain or irregular heartbeat
• Difficulty breathing that worsens after taking the medicine
• Severe allergic reaction with swelling of face, lips, or throat
• Very low blood pressure, fainting, or severe dizziness
• Signs of low potassium such as severe muscle weakness

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually with water
• Can be taken with or without food unless your doctor advises otherwise
• Do not increase or decrease the dose on your own
• Complete the full course even if you feel better
• If using syrup form, use the measuring cup provided for accurate dosing

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take it as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one
• Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one
• Try to take doses at the same times each day to maintain steady effect

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
• Keep out of reach of children
• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack
