This medicine is used to treat cough with breathlessness, wheezing, and mucus congestion seen in conditions like bronchitis, asthma, and other respiratory tract infections.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Cough with mucus (productive cough)
• Cough associated with wheezing or breathlessness
• Symptomatic relief in bronchitis, asthma and similar airway conditions

HOW IT WORKS

• Levosalbutamol relaxes the muscles around the airways, making breathing easier
• Ambroxol thins and loosens thick mucus so it can be coughed out more easily
• Guaifenesin increases fluid in the airways, helping loosen phlegm and making cough more productive

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• It is not a cure for the underlying infection or disease causing the cough
• It is not meant for dry cough without mucus unless advised by a doctor

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually with a measuring cup or spoon provided
• It can be taken with or without food, unless your doctor advises otherwise
• Shake the bottle well before use if instructed on the label
• Drink plenty of fluids while taking this medicine to help loosen mucus
• Do not take more than the prescribed amount or for longer than advised

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take the missed dose as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue your normal schedule
• Do not double the dose to make up for a missed one

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
• Keep the bottle tightly closed
• Keep out of reach of children
• Discard any unused syrup after the expiry date or as per label instructions

MEDICINES THAT CAN INTERACT

• Diuretics (water pills), as combined use may affect potassium levels
• Cough suppressants containing codeine, as combination may not be advisable
