Uses and Benefits of LULIBET CREAM (Luliconazole 1%)

Luliconazole 1% is used to treat fungal infections affecting the skin.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Ringworm infection (tinea corporis)
• Athlete's foot (tinea pedis)
• Jock itch (tinea cruris)
• Other superficial fungal skin infections as diagnosed by a doctor

HOW IT WORKS

• It stops an enzyme fungi need to build their cell membrane
• This weakens and destroys the fungal cell, killing the fungus
• It also helps relieve itching, redness, and scaling caused by the infection

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• Bacterial skin infections
• Viral skin infections such as warts or herpes
• Nail fungal infections unless specifically prescribed
• Fungal infections inside the body (internal infections)

Side Effects of LULIBET CREAM (Luliconazole 1%)

COMMON SIDE EFFECTS

• Mild burning or stinging at the application site
• Itching
• Redness of the applied skin area
• Dryness of skin

LESS COMMON SIDE EFFECTS

• Peeling or flaking of skin
• Mild irritation
• Slight swelling at the application site

SERIOUS SIDE EFFECTS — STOP AND SEE A DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY

• Severe rash or blistering of skin
• Signs of an allergic reaction such as swelling of face, lips, or throat
• Difficulty breathing
• Severe pain, oozing, or worsening of the infected area

How to Use LULIBET CREAM (Luliconazole 1%)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Use only on the skin, as advised by your doctor
• Wash and dry the affected area before applying
• Apply a thin layer to cover the affected area and slightly beyond it
• Wash your hands after applying unless the hands are being treated
• Use regularly for the full duration advised, even if symptoms improve early
• Do not stop early as the infection may come back

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Apply as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for the next application, skip the missed one
• Do not apply extra cream to make up for a missed dose

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
• Keep the tube tightly closed
• Keep out of reach of children
• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack

• Are breastfeeding
• Have broken, infected, or very sensitive skin
• Are using other skin medicines or steroid creams
• Have not seen improvement after the usual treatment period

• Steroid creams used together may mask symptoms or worsen infection
