HOW TO TAKE IT

• Insulin cartridges are used with a compatible reusable insulin pen device, not taken by mouth
• Inject under the skin (subcutaneously) in the abdomen, thigh, or upper arm as shown by your doctor or nurse
• Rotate the injection site each time to avoid skin problems
• Use the exact dose and timing prescribed by your doctor, usually before or after meals or at bedtime
