HOW IT WORKS

• Chlorhexidine gluconate is an antiseptic that kills a wide range of bacteria in the mouth

• Together they reduce swelling, bleeding gums, and bad breath caused by infection

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• Severe allergic reaction with swelling of face, lips or throat
• Difficulty breathing or swallowing
• Severe mouth ulceration or blistering
• Signs of infection getting worse instead of improving

How to Use METROHEX GEL (CHLORHEXIDINE GLUCONATE 0.25% W/W + METRONIDAZOLE 1% W/W)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Use only as directed by your dentist or doctor
• Apply a small amount of gel to the affected gum area, usually after brushing
• Do not eat or drink for some time after application, as advised
• Avoid swallowing the medicine
• Wash hands before and after application
• Complete the full course even if symptoms improve early

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Apply as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for the next application, skip the missed one
• Do not apply extra to make up for a missed dose

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
• Keep the tube tightly closed after use
• Keep out of reach of children
• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack
