This medicine is mainly used for the short-term relief of constipation.
WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Occasional or short-term constipation
- Difficulty passing stool
- Bowel preparation before certain medical procedures, if advised by a doctor
HOW IT WORKS
- Milk of Magnesia pulls water into the intestine, softening the stool and increasing bowel movement
- Liquid Paraffin coats and lubricates the stool and intestinal wall, making it easier to pass
- Together they help relieve constipation gently within a few hours to a day
WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR
- Long-term or chronic constipation management without medical supervision
- Treatment of underlying causes of constipation such as bowel obstruction
- Diarrhoea or loose motions
- Stomach pain unrelated to constipation
- Weight loss or detox purposes

How to Use MILMAFIN SUSPENSION (Milk of Magnesia (11.25ml) + Liquid Paraffin (3.75ml))
HOW TO TAKE IT
- Shake the bottle well before use
- Take the exact amount as prescribed by your doctor or as mentioned on the label
- Usually taken at bedtime or in the morning, as advised
- Can be taken with a glass of water
- Do not use for more than a few days continuously unless your doctor tells you to
- Avoid taking lying down immediately after dosing, to reduce risk of inhaling the liquid
IF YOU MISS A DOSE
- Since this is usually taken as needed for constipation, just take the next dose when required
- Do not double the dose to make up for a missed one
- If constipation continues despite regular use, consult your doctor

- Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and heat
- Keep the bottle tightly closed
- Keep out of reach of children
- Do not use after the expiry date printed on the label

- Other laxatives or antacids containing magnesium
