WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Eczema and dermatitis
• Psoriasis (skin patches)
• Allergic skin reactions causing itching and redness
• Other inflammatory skin conditions as advised by a doctor

HOW IT WORKS

• It is a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation by blocking chemical substances in the body that cause redness, swelling and itching
• It also helps narrow blood vessels in the skin, reducing visible redness
• Regular correct use as advised helps control flare-ups of skin conditions

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• Not used for treating acne
• Not used for viral skin infections such as chickenpox or herpes
• Not used for fungal skin infections unless specifically advised

How to Use MOMATE OINTMENT 15GM (MOMATE 15GM)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Apply a thin layer to the affected skin area as directed by your doctor
• Wash and dry your hands before and after application unless hands are the treated area
• Do not cover the treated area with airtight dressing unless your doctor advises so
• Avoid applying on face, groin or underarms unless specifically prescribed
• Do not use more often or for longer than prescribed
• Avoid contact with eyes, mouth and open wounds

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Apply as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for the next application, skip the missed one and continue as usual
• Do not apply extra to make up for a missed application

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
• Keep the tube tightly closed after use
• Keep out of reach of children
• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU

• Are allergic to mometasone furoate or any other ingredient in the product
