This medicine is used to treat various inflammatory skin conditions where redness, itching and swelling occur.
WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Eczema and dermatitis
- Psoriasis (skin plaques)
- Allergic skin reactions
- Itching and inflammation due to skin conditions
- Insect bite reactions on skin
HOW IT WORKS
- It is a corticosteroid that works by reducing the release of inflammatory substances in the skin
- It helps decrease swelling, redness and itching at the site of application
- It suppresses the local immune response causing skin inflammation
WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR
- It is not used for acne or fungal skin infections unless specifically advised
- It is not used for open wounds or infected skin without proper treatment
- It is not an oral medicine and should not be swallowed

How to Use MOMATE OINTMENT 40GM (MOMATE 40GM)
HOW TO TAKE IT
- Apply a thin layer of the cream/ointment on the affected skin area as prescribed by your doctor
- Wash and dry the area gently before application
- Do not cover the area with airtight bandages unless advised
- Wash hands after applying, unless hands are the treated area
- Use only on the skin, avoid contact with eyes, mouth and mucous membranes
IF YOU MISS A DOSE
- Apply as soon as you remember
- If it is almost time for the next application, skip the missed one
- Do not apply extra medicine to make up for a missed dose
STORAGE
- Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
- Keep the tube tightly closed
- Keep out of reach of children
- Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack
