WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Treating infected eczema and dermatitis
• Treating infected insect bites or minor skin injuries
• Managing skin conditions where both infection and inflammation are present
• Reducing redness, swelling, and itching caused by inflamed infected skin

HOW IT WORKS

• Fusidic acid is an antibiotic that stops the growth of bacteria causing the infection
• Mometasone is a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation, redness, and itching
• Together they treat the infection and calm the skin reaction at the same time

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• Not used for viral skin infections such as herpes or chickenpox
• Not used for fungal skin infections like ringworm

• Severe allergic reaction with swelling of face, lips, or throat
• Severe skin rash, blistering, or peeling
• Signs of worsening infection like increased pain, pus, or spreading redness
• Signs of absorption into the body such as unusual weight gain or high blood pressure with long-term use

How to Use MOMOZ-F CREAM (Mometasone (0.1% w/w) + Fusidic Acid (2% w/w))

HOW TO TAKE IT

• For external use on the skin only
• Wash and pat dry the affected area before application
• Apply a thin layer as prescribed by your doctor, usually a limited number of times a day
• Gently rub it in until absorbed
• Wash your hands after applying, unless the hands are the treated area
• Do not cover the area with an airtight bandage unless advised by your doctor
• Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and nose
• Use only for the duration advised by your doctor, even if symptoms improve early

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Apply as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for the next application, skip the missed one
• Do not apply extra amount to make up for a missed dose

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature away from direct heat and sunlight
• Keep the tube tightly closed
• Keep out of reach of children
• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack
