This medicine is used to treat skin conditions that cause redness, itching, and scaling, particularly psoriasis and other similar chronic skin disorders.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Psoriasis with thick scaly plaques
• Chronic eczema with scaling
• Other scaly, inflammatory skin conditions as advised by your doctor

HOW IT WORKS

• Mometasone reduces redness, swelling, and itching by suppressing local immune response in the skin
• Salicylic acid softens and loosens thickened, scaly skin, helping it shed and allowing better penetration of mometasone
• Together they improve skin appearance and reduce symptoms faster than either alone

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• Not for acne, fungal infections, or bacterial skin infections
• Not for use on broken skin, wounds, or infected skin without doctor's advice
• Not a cure for psoriasis or eczema; it only controls symptoms
• Not for long-term daily use without medical supervision

COMMON SIDE EFFECTS

• Severe allergic reaction such as rash, swelling of face/lips, or difficulty breathing
• Signs of skin infection like pus, increasing redness, or pain
• Stretch marks or visible thinning/blood vessels in the skin
• Signs of steroid absorption such as unusual weight gain, weakness, or vision changes with prolonged use

How to Use MOMOZ-S CREAM (Mometasone (0.1% w/w) + Salicylic Acid (5% w/w))

HOW TO TAKE IT

• For external use on the skin only, as prescribed by your doctor
• Wash and dry the affected area gently before applying
• Apply a thin layer and rub in gently; avoid using on face, groin, or underarms unless specifically advised
• Wash your hands after application unless hands are the treated area
• Do not cover the treated area with airtight dressings unless your doctor says so
• Use only for the duration advised by your doctor; do not use for longer than prescribed

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Apply as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for the next application, skip the missed one
• Do not apply extra to make up for a missed dose

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
• Keep the tube tightly closed
• Keep out of reach of children
• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU

• Oral or injectable corticosteroids, due to increased overall steroid effect
• Medicines that increase skin sensitivity, such as retinoids
