Uses and Benefits of NADERM RF CREAM (BECLOMETASONE (0.025% W/W) + NEOMYCIN (0.5% W/W) + CLOTRIMAZOLE (1% W/W))
This medicine is used to treat mixed skin infections where inflammation, fungal infection and bacterial infection occur together.
WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Fungal skin infections like ringworm, athlete's foot, and jock itch with associated inflammation
- Skin infections with itching, redness and discomfort
- Infections where secondary bacterial contamination is suspected
- Eczema-like skin conditions complicated by fungal or bacterial infection
HOW IT WORKS
- Beclometasone reduces inflammation, redness, itching and swelling of the skin
- Neomycin kills or stops growth of bacteria that may be present in the infected area
- Clotrimazole kills the fungus causing the infection by damaging its cell membrane
- Together they treat inflammation and the underlying infection at the same time
WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR
- Not for use on acne, viral skin infections like chickenpox or herpes
- Not for open wounds or deep cuts
- Not for use in the eyes
- Not a substitute for oral antibiotics or antifungals in severe or widespread infections

COMMON SIDE EFFECTS
- Mild burning or stinging at the site of application
- Itching
- Dryness of skin
- Redness at the application site
LESS COMMON SIDE EFFECTS
- Skin peeling
- Thinning of skin with prolonged use
- Increased hair growth on the applied area
- Mild rash
SERIOUS SIDE EFFECTS — STOP AND SEE A DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY
- Severe allergic reaction with swelling of face, lips or throat
- Severe skin irritation, blistering or oozing
- Signs of skin infection worsening despite treatment
- Signs of absorption into the body such as unusual tiredness, weight gain or mood changes with long-term overuse

How to Use NADERM RF CREAM (BECLOMETASONE (0.025% W/W) + NEOMYCIN (0.5% W/W) + CLOTRIMAZOLE (1% W/W))
HOW TO TAKE IT
- For external use on skin only, not to be taken by mouth
- Wash and dry the affected area before applying
- Apply a thin layer as advised by your doctor, usually a small amount is enough to cover the area
- Wash your hands after application unless the hands are the treated area
- Do not cover the area with an airtight bandage unless your doctor tells you to
- Use regularly for the number of days advised by your doctor, even if symptoms improve early
- Do not use more often or for longer than prescribed
IF YOU MISS A DOSE
- Apply it as soon as you remember
- If it is almost time for the next application, skip the missed one and continue as usual
- Do not apply extra to make up for a missed dose
STORAGE
- Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
- Keep the cap tightly closed
- Keep out of reach of children
- Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU
- Are allergic to beclometasone, neomycin, clotrimazole or any other ingredient in it
- Have a viral skin infection like chickenpox, herpes or shingles
- Have tuberculosis of the skin
- Have an untreated skin infection not diagnosed by a doctor
TELL YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE STARTING IF YOU
- Are pregnant or breastfeeding
- Plan to use it on a child's skin
- Have thin or damaged skin, or a large area of skin to treat
- Are using it on the face, groin or underarms for a long time
- Have diabetes
- Are already using other steroid creams or ointments
MEDICINES THAT CAN INTERACT
- Other topical steroid creams used at the same time may increase side effects
- Other topical antibiotics or antifungals may raise the chance of skin irritation
- Inform your doctor about any other creams, ointments or oral medicines you are using
