Uses and Benefits of NEERCLEAR EYE DROP (CARBOXYMETHYL-CELLULOSE 0.5% W/V+OXYCHLORO COMPLEX 0.75% W/V)
This composition is mainly used to treat dryness and irritation of the eyes caused by reduced tear production or environmental factors.
WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Relief of dry, itchy, or irritated eyes
- Lubrication for eyes strained by prolonged screen use, wind, or air conditioning
- Comfort during and after use of contact lenses
- Temporary relief from burning or gritty sensation in the eyes
HOW IT WORKS
- Carboxymethyl-cellulose forms a thin protective film over the eye surface that mimics natural tears
- It helps retain moisture and reduces friction between the eyelid and eye surface
- Oxychloro complex acts as a mild, eye-friendly preservative that breaks down into natural tear components after use, reducing irritation risk compared to harsher preservatives
WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR
- Treating eye infections such as conjunctivitis
- Treating eye injuries or foreign body removal
- Reducing eye redness caused by allergy without doctor advice
- Treating glaucoma or other serious eye conditions
