Uses and Benefits of NIKORAN 2MG INJECTION (Nicorandil (2mg))
Nicorandil (2mg) is mainly used to treat and prevent angina, a type of chest pain that occurs when the heart muscle does not get enough oxygen-rich blood.
WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Long-term prevention of angina attacks
- Relief of chronic stable angina symptoms
- Add-on treatment when other angina medicines are not fully effective
HOW IT WORKS

- It also reduces the pressure the heart has to pump against, lowering the heart's workload
WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR
- It is not a painkiller for general body pain
- It does not treat sudden heart attacks once they have started
- It is not used for high blood pressure alone
- It is not a substitute for lifestyle changes like quitting smoking or controlling cholesterol
