WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

HOW IT WORKS

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

How to Use Otek-AC Drops (Chloramphenicol + Beclometasone + Clotrimazole + Lignocaine)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Use only in the ear as directed by your doctor
• Clean and dry the outer ear gently before applying, if advised
• Tilt the head sideways and apply the prescribed number of drops into the ear canal
• Gently pull the earlobe to help the drops flow inside
• Stay in the tilted position for a minute or two after application
• Do not use more often or for longer than prescribed
• Wash your hands before and after use

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Apply it as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one
• Do not apply double drops to make up for a missed dose

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct heat and sunlight
• Keep the cap tightly closed
• Keep out of reach of children
• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack
• Discard the dropper bottle if the liquid changes colour or smell

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU

• Are allergic to chloramphenicol, beclometasone, clotrimazole, lignocaine, or similar medicines
• Have a perforated (torn) eardrum, unless your doctor says it is safe
• Have a viral ear infection
• Have untreated tuberculosis of the ear
