This combination medicine is mainly used to treat acid reflux, indigestion, and related digestive symptoms caused by slow stomach emptying and excess acid.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Heartburn and acid reflux (GERD)
• Functional dyspepsia (indigestion without a clear cause)
• Bloating, fullness, and discomfort after meals
• Nausea or vomiting linked to slow stomach emptying

HOW IT WORKS

• Rabeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor that blocks acid-producing pumps in the stomach lining, reducing acid levels
• Levosulpiride is a prokinetic agent that helps the stomach and intestines move food along faster, reducing bloating and nausea
• Together they relieve both excess acid and poor stomach emptying

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• Not a painkiller for general stomach pain unrelated to acid or motility
• Not used for infections or ulcers caused by bacteria without other treatment
• Not meant for long-term use without medical supervision
• Not a treatment for psychiatric or neurological conditions, despite Levosulpiride having some central effects

• Severe or persistent diarrhoea
• Yellowing of skin or eyes, dark urine (signs of liver problems)
• Fainting or severe dizziness

How to Use PRAZSAF-LS CAPSULE (RABEPRAZOLE 20MG + LEVOSULPIRIDE 75MG)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily before a meal
• Swallow the tablet or capsule whole with water; do not crush or chew unless advised
• Take at the same time each day for best results
• Do not stop suddenly without consulting your doctor, even if you feel better

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take the missed dose as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue as usual
• Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed one

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
• Keep in the original packaging until ready to use
• Keep out of reach of children
• Discard any expired or unused medicine safely, do not use it after the expiry date printed on the pack

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU

• Are allergic to Rabeprazole, Levosulpiride, or any other ingredient in the product
• Have a known hormone-related tumour such as prolactinoma
• Have a history of seizures or certain movement disorders, unless advised by your doctor
• Are pregnant or breastfeeding, unless specifically advised by your doctor

TELL YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE STARTING IF YOU

• Have kidney or liver disease
• Have heart rhythm problems
• Have a history of depression or Parkinson's disease
• Are taking other medicines for stomach acidity or motility
• Are planning surgery or any major medical procedure soon

MEDICINES THAT CAN INTERACT

• Other drugs affecting stomach acid, like antacids or other PPIs
• Medicines for Parkinson's disease
• Antipsychotic or antidepressant medicines
• Blood thinners such as warfarin
