WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Nerve pain caused by diabetes (diabetic neuropathy)
• Nerve pain after shingles (post-herpetic neuralgia)
• Fibromyalgia (widespread muscle pain and tenderness)
• As an add-on treatment for certain types of epilepsy (partial seizures)
• Generalised anxiety disorder, in some cases

HOW IT WORKS

• Pregabalin calms overactive nerve signals in the brain and spinal cord
• It reduces the release of certain chemical messengers involved in pain and seizure activity
• This helps reduce pain signals and stabilise abnormal electrical activity in the brain

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

How to Use PREGABA Gel (Pregabalin 8%)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually two or three times a day
• Swallow capsules whole with water; if using oral solution, use the measuring device provided
• Can be taken with or without food
• Do not stop suddenly without talking to your doctor, even if you feel better
• Do not increase or decrease the dose on your own

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take it as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue your normal schedule
• Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one
• If you miss doses often, set reminders or speak to your doctor about adjusting your routine

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
• Keep the container tightly closed
• Keep out of reach and sight of children
• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack
