Pregabalin is mainly used to treat nerve-related pain conditions and seizure disorders.
WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Nerve pain caused by diabetes (diabetic neuropathy)
- Nerve pain after shingles (post-herpetic neuralgia)
- Fibromyalgia (widespread muscle pain and tenderness)
- As an add-on treatment for certain types of epilepsy (partial seizures)
- Generalised anxiety disorder, in some cases
HOW IT WORKS
- Pregabalin calms overactive nerve signals in the brain and spinal cord
- It reduces the release of certain chemical messengers involved in pain and seizure activity
- This helps reduce pain signals and stabilise abnormal electrical activity in the brain
WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR
- It is not a painkiller for ordinary headaches, injuries, or muscle sprains

How to Use PREGABA Gel (Pregabalin 8%)
HOW TO TAKE IT
- Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually two or three times a day
- Swallow capsules whole with water; if using oral solution, use the measuring device provided
- Can be taken with or without food
- Do not stop suddenly without talking to your doctor, even if you feel better
- Do not increase or decrease the dose on your own
IF YOU MISS A DOSE
- Take it as soon as you remember
- If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue your normal schedule
- Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one
- If you miss doses often, set reminders or speak to your doctor about adjusting your routine
