Uses and Benefits of Progynova 2mg Tablets (Estradiol 2mg)
This composition is mainly used to treat symptoms caused by low oestrogen levels, especially after menopause.
WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Relief of hot flashes and night sweats due to menopause
- Treatment of vaginal dryness, itching and discomfort caused by low oestrogen
- Prevention of bone thinning (osteoporosis) in some postmenopausal women
- Hormone replacement in women whose ovaries have been removed or are not functioning
HOW IT WORKS
- Estradiol is a synthetic form of oestrogen, the hormone that naturally decreases after menopause
- It replaces the missing oestrogen in the body, reducing menopausal symptoms
- It helps maintain the health of vaginal tissue and bone density
WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR
- Not used for contraception or birth control

How to Use Progynova 2mg Tablets (Estradiol 2mg)
HOW TO TAKE IT
- Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily
- Swallow the tablet with water, with or without food
- Try to take it at the same time each day to maintain steady hormone levels
- Do not increase or decrease the dose on your own
- Continue taking it regularly for as long as your doctor recommends
IF YOU MISS A DOSE
- Take the missed dose as soon as you remember on the same day
- If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue as usual
- Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one
- If you miss doses often, speak to your doctor about a reminder plan

- Store at room temperature, away from direct heat and sunlight
