This medicine is mainly used to treat acidity, gas, bloating and pain related to stomach and food pipe irritation.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Acid indigestion and heartburn
• Gas, bloating and flatulence
• Pain due to gastritis or peptic ulcer
• Discomfort caused by acid reflux (GERD)
• Pain while swallowing due to irritation of the food pipe

HOW IT WORKS

• Magaldrate neutralises excess acid in the stomach, giving quick relief from burning sensation
• Simethicone breaks down trapped gas bubbles, reducing bloating and discomfort
• Oxetacaine numbs the lining of the stomach and food pipe, reducing pain locally

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• It is not a treatment for infections like H. pylori
• It does not cure ulcers permanently, only relieves symptoms

How to Use RANIDOM O SYRUP (Magaldrate + Simethicone + Oxetacaine)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor
• Usually taken before or after meals and at bedtime, as advised
• Shake the liquid well before use, if using a suspension
• If chewable tablets are prescribed, chew them well before swallowing; do not swallow whole
• Do not take more than the prescribed amount or for longer than advised

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take it as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one
• Do not double the dose to make up for a missed one

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
• Keep the container tightly closed
• Keep out of reach of children
• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack
