This medicine is used for relief from pain and inflammation affecting muscles, joints, and soft tissues.
WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Muscle pain, sprains and strains
- Joint pain due to arthritis or minor injury
- Back pain and stiffness
- Pain after minor sports injuries
HOW IT WORKS
- Diclofenac Sodium is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that reduces pain-causing chemicals (prostaglandins) at the site of application
- Methyl Salicylate and Linseed Oil provide soothing, counter-irritant and mild anti-inflammatory action
- Menthol gives a cooling sensation that helps distract from pain and relaxes the area
WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR
- Not for internal use or swallowing
- Not meant for treating infections, fever, or internal organ pain
- Not a substitute for treating the underlying cause of chronic joint disease
- Not for use on broken skin, wounds, or rashes

COMMON SIDE EFFECTS
- Mild burning or stinging at the site of application
- Redness of the skin
- Itching
- Cooling or tingling sensation
LESS COMMON SIDE EFFECTS
- Skin dryness or peeling
- Mild rash
- Increased sensitivity to sunlight in the applied area
SERIOUS SIDE EFFECTS — STOP AND SEE A DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY
- Severe skin irritation, blistering, or swelling
- Signs of allergic reaction such as difficulty breathing, swelling of face or lips
- Severe itching or hives spreading beyond application site
- Unusual skin discoloration or open sores

How to Use RELAXYL GEL (DICLOFENAC SODIUM + LINSEED OIL B. P. + METHYL SALICYLATE I.P. + MENTHOL I. P.)
HOW TO TAKE IT
- For external use only; do not swallow
- Apply a small amount over the affected area and massage gently until absorbed
- Wash hands thoroughly after application, unless hands are the treated area
- Use only as often as advised by your doctor or as mentioned on the pack
- Avoid applying on broken skin, wounds, eyes, or mucous membranes
- Do not cover the area with an airtight bandage unless told to do so
IF YOU MISS A DOSE
- Apply as soon as you remember
- If it is almost time for the next application, skip the missed one
- Do not apply extra to make up for a missed dose
STORAGE
- Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
- Keep the cap tightly closed after use
- Keep out of reach of children and pets
- Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU

MEDICINES THAT CAN INTERACT
