This medicine is applied on the skin to relieve pain, stiffness and muscle spasm affecting muscles and joints.
WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Muscular pain and stiffness
- Backache
- Sprains and minor strains
- Joint pain related to stiffness
- Muscle spasm after physical strain
HOW IT WORKS
- Mephenesin relaxes tight or spasming muscles
- Methyl nicotinate widens small blood vessels in the skin, improving local blood flow
- Capsicum oleoresin produces a warming sensation that distracts from underlying pain
- Together they help reduce local pain, stiffness and discomfort
WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR
- Not used for internal pain such as stomach ache or headache
- Not a treatment for infections or fractures
- Not meant for long-term or chronic pain without medical advice

- Accidental contact with eyes causing severe irritation or pain

How to Use RELAXYL OINTMENT (MEPHENESIN + METHYL NICOTINATE B.P + CAPSICUM OLEORESIN U.S.P.)
HOW TO TAKE IT
- For external use only, on the skin
- Apply a small amount to the affected area and massage gently as directed by your doctor
- Wash your hands thoroughly after application unless the hands are the treated area
- Avoid applying on broken, cut, infected or irritated skin
- Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, nose and other sensitive areas
- Do not cover the applied area tightly with bandages unless advised
- Use only as often as recommended by your doctor or as per the product label
IF YOU MISS A DOSE
- Apply as soon as you remember
- If it is almost time for the next application, skip the missed one
- Do not apply extra to make up for a missed dose

- Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
- Keep the cap tightly closed after use
