WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Anaemia caused by chronic kidney disease, including in patients on dialysis
- Anaemia caused by chemotherapy in certain cancer patients
- Reducing the need for blood transfusions in some surgical or medical situations, as advised by a doctor

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR
- It is not used for anaemia caused by iron, vitamin B12, or folate deficiency alone
- It is not a painkiller or general energy booster
