This medicine is used to treat mixed skin infections that involve fungal growth, bacterial infection, and inflammation together.
WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Fungal skin infections such as ringworm, athlete's foot, and jock itch
- Skin infections with bacterial involvement
- Itching, redness, and swelling associated with skin infections
- Eczema-like skin conditions complicated by infection
HOW IT WORKS
- Clotrimazole kills or stops growth of fungi causing infection
- Beclomethasone reduces inflammation, redness, itching, and swelling
- Neomycin acts against bacteria that may be present in the infected skin
- Together they treat infection and reduce discomfort faster
WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR
- Not for use on eyes or inside the mouth
- Not for viral skin infections like chickenpox or herpes
- Not for acne or plain dry skin without infection
- Not for long-term routine use on normal skin
- Not a substitute for oral antibiotics or antifungals in severe infections

COMMON SIDE EFFECTS
- Mild burning or stinging at application site
- Itching
- Dryness of skin
- Redness

- Thinning of skin with prolonged use
- Skin discoloration
- Increased hair growth at application site
- Mild irritation
SERIOUS SIDE EFFECTS — STOP AND SEE A DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY
- Severe allergic reaction with swelling of face, lips, or throat
- Signs of skin infection getting worse
- Severe rash, blistering, or peeling skin
- Signs of absorption into the body such as unusual tiredness or weight changes with long-term use
- Vision problems if accidentally applied near eyes

How to Use SURFAZ SN CREAM (CLOTRIMAZOLE I.P. + BECLOMETHASONE DIPROPIONATE I.P. + NEOMYCIN SULPHATE I.P.)
HOW TO TAKE IT
- For external use on skin only, as prescribed by your doctor
- Wash and dry the affected area before applying
- Apply a thin layer and gently rub in
- Wash hands after application unless hands are the treated area
- Do not cover with an airtight bandage unless your doctor advises
- Do not use more often or for longer than prescribed
- Avoid contact with eyes, nose, mouth, and open wounds
IF YOU MISS A DOSE
- Apply as soon as you remember
- If it is almost time for the next application, skip the missed one
- Do not apply extra to make up for a missed dose
STORAGE
- Store at room temperature, away from direct heat and sunlight
- Keep out of reach of children
- Keep the container tightly closed
- Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU
- Are allergic to clotrimazole, beclomethasone, neomycin, or related medicines
- Have a viral skin infection like chickenpox, herpes, or shingles
- Have untreated tuberculosis of the skin
- Have a skin reaction from vaccination at the application site
TELL YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE STARTING IF YOU
- Are pregnant or breastfeeding
- Plan to use it on a child's skin
- Have thin or damaged skin, ulcers, or large wounds
- Need to use it on the face, groin, or skin folds for long periods
- Have any other skin condition not yet diagnosed

- Other topical steroid creams used at the same time
- Other antibiotic or antifungal creams applied to the same area
- Oral medicines are unlikely to interact since this is for skin use, but inform your doctor about all medicines you use
