Tedizolid Phosphate is used to treat acute bacterial skin and skin structure infections caused by susceptible bacteria, including certain resistant strains like MRSA.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Treating bacterial skin and soft tissue infections
• Managing infections caused by Gram-positive bacteria including some resistant strains
• Used when other antibiotics are not suitable or have failed

HOW IT WORKS

• Blocks bacterial protein synthesis by binding to a part of the bacterial ribosome
• Prevents bacteria from multiplying, allowing the body's immune system to clear the infection
• Effective against many bacteria resistant to other antibiotic classes

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

HOW TO TAKE IT
