This medicine is used to treat mixed skin infections that have inflammation, bacterial infection, and fungal infection together.
WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Skin infections with itching, redness and swelling
- Fungal skin infections like ringworm, athlete's foot, and jock itch complicated by bacteria and inflammation
- Eczema-like skin conditions that are also infected
- Skin fold infections where fungus and bacteria coexist
HOW IT WORKS
- Beclomethasone is a steroid that reduces redness, itching, and swelling
- Neomycin is an antibiotic that kills bacteria causing infection
- Miconazole is an antifungal that stops fungal growth on the skin
- Together they treat infection and calm irritation at the same time
WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR
- Not for use on open wounds or deep cuts
- Not for viral skin infections like chickenpox or herpes
- Not for acne or long-term regular skin care
- Not for use in the eyes or inside the mouth
- Not a substitute for oral antibiotics or antifungals in severe infections

COMMON SIDE EFFECTS
- Mild burning or stinging at the application site
- Itching or redness where applied
- Dryness of the skin
LESS COMMON SIDE EFFECTS
- Thinning of the skin with prolonged use
- Skin discoloration
- Increased hair growth on treated area
- Small visible blood vessels on skin
SERIOUS SIDE EFFECTS — STOP AND SEE A DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY
- Severe allergic reaction with swelling of face, lips or throat
- Severe rash, blistering, or peeling skin
- Signs of skin infection getting worse despite treatment
- Signs of the medicine being absorbed into the body such as unusual weight gain or weakness (with prolonged large-area use)

How to Use VALBET OINTMENT (BECLOMETASONE 0.025% W/W + NEOMYCIN 0.5% W/W + MICONAZOLE 2% W/W)
HOW TO TAKE IT
- Apply a thin layer to the affected skin area as prescribed by your doctor
- Wash and dry the area gently before applying
- Use only on the skin; avoid eyes, mouth, and open wounds
- Wash your hands before and after application
- Do not cover the area tightly with bandages unless your doctor says so
- Use for the exact duration advised; do not stop early even if symptoms improve
- Do not use more often or in larger amounts than prescribed
IF YOU MISS A DOSE
- Apply as soon as you remember
- If it is almost time for the next application, skip the missed one
- Do not apply extra to make up for a missed dose
STORAGE
- Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
- Keep the tube tightly closed
- Keep out of reach of children
- Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack

- Have an untreated skin infection without antifungal or antibacterial cover advised

- Plan to use it on your face, groin, or armpits for long periods
- Have thin or damaged skin
