Uses and Benefits of WIDERM CREAM (TERBINAFINE 1% W/W + CLOBETASOL 0.05% W/W + OFLOXACIN 0.75% W/W + ORNIDAZOLE 2% W/W)

This medicine is used to treat mixed skin infections caused by fungi, bacteria, and certain microorganisms, along with associated inflammation, redness, and itching.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Fungal skin infections such as ringworm (tinea)
• Mixed bacterial and fungal skin infections
• Skin infections with marked itching, redness, or inflammation
• Infections affecting skin folds like groin, underarms

HOW IT WORKS

• Terbinafine kills the fungus causing the infection
• Clobetasol, a strong steroid, reduces redness, swelling, and itching
• Ofloxacin acts against bacteria that may be present
• Ornidazole works against certain anaerobic organisms contributing to infection

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• Not for viral skin infections like herpes or chickenpox
• Not for acne or general dryness of skin
• Not for long-term daily use on large body areas
• Not for use on broken skin, wounds, or ulcers without doctor's advice

COMMON SIDE EFFECTS

• Mild burning or stinging at the site of application

LESS COMMON SIDE EFFECTS

• Skin discoloration
• Increased sensitivity to sunlight
• Mild rash

SERIOUS SIDE EFFECTS — STOP AND SEE A DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY

• Severe allergic reaction with swelling of face, lips, or throat
• Severe skin peeling, blistering, or oozing
• Signs of skin infection worsening despite treatment
• Stretch marks or visible thinning of skin from long-term steroid use

How to Use WIDERM CREAM (TERBINAFINE 1% W/W + CLOBETASOL 0.05% W/W + OFLOXACIN 0.75% W/W + ORNIDAZOLE 2% W/W)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• This is for external use on skin only, not to be taken by mouth
• Wash and dry the affected area before applying
• Apply a thin layer as prescribed by your doctor
• Use only on the area advised, avoid eyes, mouth, and open wounds
• Wash your hands after applying, unless the hands are being treated
• Do not bandage or cover the area tightly unless told by your doctor
• Use for the duration prescribed, do not stop early even if symptoms improve

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Apply as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for the next application, skip the missed one
• Do not apply extra cream to make up for a missed dose

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct heat and sunlight
• Keep the tube tightly closed
• Keep out of reach of children
• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack
