How to Use XULTOPHY INJECTION (LIRAGLUTIDE (3.6MG/1ML) + INSULIN DEGLUDEC (100IU))

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Inject under the skin (subcutaneously) once daily, at the same time every day, as prescribed by your doctor
• Usually given in the thigh, upper arm, or abdomen; rotate injection sites to avoid lumps
• Do not inject into a vein or muscle
• Follow the pen device instructions given by your doctor or pharmacist carefully
• Do not mix this medicine with other insulins in the same syringe
• Check the liquid before use — it should look clear and colourless; do not use if cloudy or discoloured

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember on the same day
• Do not double the dose to make up for a missed one
• If unsure, contact your doctor for guidance based on your blood sugar levels

STORAGE

• Store unopened pens in a refrigerator, away from the freezer compartment
• Once in use, the pen can usually be kept at room temperature for a limited time as per the pack instructions
• Keep away from direct heat and sunlight
