This combination is used for skin conditions where a fungal infection is present along with inflammation, redness, and itching.
WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Fungal skin infections such as ringworm, athlete's foot, and jock itch with inflammation
- Itchy, red, scaly patches of skin caused by fungus
- Skin infections where both itching and inflammation need to be controlled together
HOW IT WORKS
- Miconazole kills or stops the growth of fungi causing the infection
- Fluocinolone acetonide is a corticosteroid that reduces redness, swelling, and itching
- Together they treat the infection and relieve symptoms faster than an antifungal alone
WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR
- Not for viral skin infections like chickenpox or herpes
- Not for bacterial skin infections without fungal involvement
- Not for acne or general dry skin
- Not for use on eyes, mouth, or broken/open wounds unless advised by doctor

How to Use ZOLE F LOTION (Fluocinolone Acetonide 0.01% w/v + Miconazole)
HOW TO TAKE IT
- Wash and dry the affected area before applying
- Apply a thin layer as prescribed by your doctor, usually once or twice daily
- Gently rub in until absorbed; avoid covering with airtight bandages unless advised
- Wash your hands after application unless the hands are the treated area
- Do not apply on the face, groin folds, or underarms for long periods unless your doctor says so
- Continue using for the full duration prescribed even if symptoms improve
IF YOU MISS A DOSE
- Apply as soon as you remember
- If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and continue as normal
- Do not apply extra amount to make up for a missed dose

- Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
- Keep the cap tightly closed
- Keep out of reach of children
- Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack

TELL YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE STARTING IF YOU
- Are pregnant or breastfeeding
- Are using it on a child, especially on large areas or under diapers
- Have diabetes, as steroids can affect blood sugar with extensive use
- Plan to use it for a long duration or on face/skin folds
- Have any other skin condition being treated

- Other topical steroids or antifungal creams used at the same time
- Oral or injectable corticosteroids, if used along with this cream over large areas

How long does it take to work?
